যখন আপনি অসম্ভবকে বাদ দেবেন, তখন যা কিছু অবশিষ্ট থাকে। তা যত অবিশ্বাস্যই হোক না কেন, সত্য হবেই— শার্লক হোমস সুডোকু, একটি মজার চ্যালেঞ্জিং ধাঁধা, যা বিশ্বজুড়ে মানুষকে আকর্ষণ করে। আমার সঙ্গে সুডোকুর পরিচয় ২০০৭-০৮ সালের দিকে। দৈনিক প্রথম আলোতে একটি সুডোকু প্রতিযোগিতায় মোবাইলফোনের মাধ্যমে চট্টগ্রাম থেকে সমাধান মিলিয়ে মেসেজ পাঠাতাম। এরপরে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে ভর্তির হলে সুডোকু চর্চার অনেক সুযোগ পাই। মনে পড়ে, ২০০৯ সালের ২৫ এপ্রিল ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কলাভবনে আন্তর্জাতিক সম্পর্ক বিভাগের ২০২৪ নাম্বার রুমে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় সুডোকু ক্লাব থেকে সুডোকু প্রতিযোগিতা আয়োজন করেছিলাম।

At this stage, we have seen a good number of publishers are publishing math olympiad related books regularly. The number of readers is also increasing besides participants. Our academic team members are doing a good job in writing and compiling these books. The number of English version and medium students is increasing who are regularly taking part in math olympiad. Till now we do not have any good resources of our own in math olympiad sector for them. This book will surely start a new era and will begin a good practice in the community. I hope this book will be helpful in the time of taking preparation by the students as a source of standard problems.
